Sitting Spiritually is run by award winning eco carpenter and furniture designer Martin Young, and his business grew out of his passion for his garden. Each swing seat is hand crafted from concept to delivery.

The uniqueness of his award winning Kyokusen swing seat comes from the curves of the frame, which are dictated by the curves in the Oak log from which it was cut. By combining traditional joints and state of the art fittings, a truly beautiful result is achieved, designed to last for years. Sitting Spiritually is carbon neutral using only locally-sourced woods with FCS certification.

Chris Eckersley is an artist and 3D designer who makes
sculpture and designs furniture.

His oak bench was originally designed in 2001 for Trombe Conservatories
